MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING

At Arden, we are passionate about ensuring our whole school community is supported when it comes to Mental Health and Wellbeing.

Mr. Bullock is our designated Senior Mental Health Lead who leads a team across the school who provide a range of pastoral provision for our school community.

Actions this year will include:

  1. Strengthening our pupil voice through our Young Leaders and Happiness and Safeguarding Heroes to help reflect on and develop our values and curriculum.
  2. Increasing awareness and signposting of our Mental Health and Wellbeing provision to further develop our ability to support.
  3. Continuing our commitment to training colleagues to complement their existing professional development in Mental Health and Wellbeing.
  4. Increasing parent engagement through workshops, meet the teacher presentations, newsletters and additional use of the myHappymind parent app to support their families at home.
  5. Renewed commitment to myHappymind+ to cover the entire PHSE curriculum and the pursuit of Silver Accreditation to demonstrate delivery of high-quality Mental Health and Wellbeing provision across our school.
