A very warm welcome to Arden Primary School.

I feel extremely privileged to be the Headteacher of Arden – a school that I have been part of for many years and a community that I am incredibly proud of. Arden is a happy, friendly, caring and exciting school where children enjoy their learning and feel valued every day. Our school is a place where everyone matters and where pupils are encouraged to achieve their very best.

Arden is at the heart of the Sparkhill community in Birmingham, and I feel incredibly proud to lead a school with such a strong sense of belonging. Having been part of Arden for many years, I have had the privilege of seeing our school grow and flourish. It continues to be a place where children feel happy, confident and inspired to learn.

Our pupils are enthusiastic, caring and hardworking, and they truly make Arden a very special place. I am also proud of the strong relationships we have built with our families and the wider community. By working closely together, we create a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and children feel safe and supported to achieve their best.

We are fortunate to have a talented and dedicated team of staff who work incredibly hard to provide high-quality learning opportunities for every child. They have high expectations and are deeply committed to helping pupils succeed both academically and socially.

Visitors often comment on the warm, friendly atmosphere of our school, something we proudly describe as the ‘Arden Family’. This strong sense of community is at the heart of everything we do.
